Minister T. Ibraev also noted that many projects were implemented in 2025, including the construction of substations and the reconstruction of hydro units at major hydropower plants, as well as the launch of small hydropower plants and solar power stations. The number of electricity consumers is growing every year, which necessitates an increase in generation. “New residential complexes and factories are being built, making each new substation important for providing electricity to the population. We must continue to develop and ensure that the population has light and heat,” he added.
The area served by the 110/35/10 kV substation 'Suu-Bashy' is 500 square meters. The implementation of this project was made possible through the joint efforts of JSC 'NESC' and the Batken city administration, with total project costs amounting to 55 million 758 thousand soms, of which:
• 19 million 958 thousand soms were spent by the Batken Electric Networks Enterprise on additional materials;
• 35 million 800 thousand soms were allocated by the Batken city administration for equipment procurement;
• construction work was carried out by the Batken Electric Networks Enterprise.
The Ministry of Energy reports that the new substation will provide stable and quality electricity supply for the villages of Jangy-Dostuk, industrial zones, the residential area 'Batken City', the new stadium with a capacity of 10,000 seats, residential houses in the Chet-Bulak quarter, the village of Buzhum, and the under-construction Russian school, as well as for 2,224 residential houses.
In addition, the substation will supply electricity to the following substations:
• Kara-Bulak 35/10 kV;
• Kara-Tokoy-1 35/10 kV;
• Kara-Tokoy-2 35/10 kV;
• Shirech 35/10 kV.
The substation is connected to the new 110 kV overhead power line 'Aigul-Tash – Central', which is located 150 meters from the site.
During the event, new vehicles and special equipment were handed over to the Batken Electric Networks Enterprise to enhance production capabilities, including:
• 3 vehicles of the JAC N 8 model;
• 1 vehicle of the JAC N56 model;
• 1 excavator of the SHANMON model.
This equipment will improve the daily operations of energy workers, enhance the quality of electricity network services, and ensure reliable power supply for the residents of the region.
Additionally, T. Ibraev met with the employees of the Batken Electric Networks Enterprise, where they discussed their proposals and raised issues, the current state of the energy sector, as well as working conditions. The minister answered their questions and gave appropriate instructions for resolving the raised problems.
