President Sadyr Japarov signed the draft law on the republican budget of the Kyrgyz Republic for the year 2026 and the planning period of 2027-2028.
This law was approved by the Jogorku Kenesh on December 24, 2025.
The main objective of the law is to ensure medium-term financial stability and effective management of state finances.
According to this law, the revenues of the republican budget for 2026 will amount to 551,207,156.1 thousand soms, while expenditures will be 550,770,757.7 thousand soms.
Thus, a budget surplus of 436,398.4 thousand soms is projected, which will be used to finance operations with financial assets and to cover the principal part of external debt obligations (the principal amount of the state external debt).
