Yesterday, January 28, an incident involving fire occurred on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul in the Ton district of the Issyk-Kul region.

The flames were spotted east of the village of Kara-Talaa, which is part of the Ula-Khol rural district.

According to information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations representative office in the Issyk-Kul region, the fire broke out in the territory of the natural reserve "Ak-Bulun." To extinguish it, at 17:24, one firefighting unit from the fire and rescue station No. 19 in the city of Balykchy was dispatched to the scene.

Control over the fire was established at 21:30, and its complete extinguishment occurred at 24:05.

In the firefighting efforts, 6 representatives of the village administration, 3 forestry workers, 3 police officers, about 20 local residents, and 5 employees of the district Ministry of Emergency Situations participated.
