
Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Ernest Jusupov shared information about air quality monitoring during a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, which is responsible for agricultural policy, water resources, subsoil use, environmental issues, and environmental protection. According to him, "Kyrgyzhydromet" conducts monitoring in cities such as Bishkek, Osh, Kara-Balta, Tokmok, and Cholpon-Ata.
In these locations, there are 14 stationary posts and one automated station. Additionally, 50 automated sensors have been installed in Bishkek and in the Alamedin and Issyk-Ata districts.
According to the data obtained, in some days, the average daily norms of pollutants were exceeded up to 12 times.
