In Kyrgyzstan, the production of four types of old-style driver's licenses has been organized until 2025. This was announced by President Sadyr Japarov during his visit to the State Center for Vehicle Registration and Driver Licensing.
The head of state noted that the old licenses could be easily produced under any conditions.
“Citizens of neighboring countries continue to use ID cards with valid terms and fake driver's licenses in Russia, Kazakhstan, and other countries. How can we combat this? We cannot simply annul these documents, as they will remain valid for another 10 years. That is why we have launched the issuance of new generation driver's licenses. They can be considered among the best in the world. They are impossible to forge, as they are produced exclusively here,” said Sadyr Japarov.
