The Ministry of Education of Kyrgyzstan stated that the incident in which a physical education teacher used physical force against students raises serious concerns and requires immediate intervention.
The ministry reports that an investigation has been initiated in conjunction with the territorial units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to clarify all the details of the incident. Investigative actions are currently underway.
Additionally, the agency emphasizes that large-scale preventive measures are being implemented in the country based on the order dated January 19, 2026, No. 13/1. The ministry urges not to make generalized conclusions about the situation based on a single incident.
As part of these measures, explanatory work is also being carried out with educators, students, and parents.
