In the village of Chyrak, located in the Jeti-Oguz district, an incident occurred that the Ministry of Education has classified as child abuse. This case also indicates serious violations of professional ethics by the teacher. This was reported by representatives of the department.

Earlier, law enforcement agencies received information that a physical education teacher had used physical force against students at a general education school.

In response to the incident, the Ministry of Education, together with local divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, has initiated an operational investigation to establish all the details of the incident. Investigative actions are currently ongoing.

It is also worth noting that based on the order of the Ministry of Education No. 13/1, issued on January 19, 2026, large-scale preventive measures are being implemented in the country. The Ministry strongly urges avoiding generalized conclusions about the situation based on this incident.

In addition, as part of the explanatory work, meetings are being held with teachers, students, and their parents. The Republican Institute for Advanced Training of Teachers has been tasked with intensifying explanatory activities on issues of professional ethics for teachers in the Kyrgyz Republic.

It is important to note that similar cases have already occurred. For example, in Bishkek, a teacher from school No. 87 was dismissed for hitting a student. This was reported earlier.
