The project being implemented in the Toktogul district aims to create intensive orchards, which was initiated by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan.
On these 30 hectares of rainfed land, drip irrigation will be installed and a water reservoir with a capacity of 15,000 cubic meters will be built. The plan also includes fencing the area and carrying out protective works.
The land plot has been leased for 5 years through the district's agricultural development management, creating opportunities for long-term planning and sustainable development of horticulture.
Starting in March, planting of seedlings will begin in this area. The use of modern horticultural technologies and drip irrigation will allow for efficient and economical use of water resources, which is especially important in conditions of water scarcity, and will significantly simplify the work of farmers.
