In the Toktogul district, initiatives aimed at supporting farmers and improving agriculture are actively developing.
According to information from the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, a project is being implemented here to create intensive orchards.
As part of this project, drip irrigation systems are being installed on 30 hectares of rain-fed land, and a water reservoir with a capacity of 15,000 cubic meters is being constructed. Additionally, the area will be fully fenced, and protective measures are being taken.
The land plot where the work is being carried out has been leased for five years through the district agricultural development office. This creates opportunities for sustainable development and long-term planning in the field of gardening.
Starting in early March, the planting of seedlings will begin in this area. The use of modern gardening technologies, including drip irrigation, allows for efficient water resource management, which is especially important in conditions of water scarcity, significantly easing the work of farmers.
The technologies being implemented by the ministry are aimed at increasing yields, reducing water losses, and enhancing the sustainability of agricultural production.
