Currently, 147.6 thousand hectares of winter wheat have been sown, of which 66.6 thousand hectares are on rain-fed lands, and 80.9 thousand hectares are on irrigated lands. In addition, winter barley occupies 8037.5 hectares, including 2976.9 hectares on irrigated lands and 5060.6 hectares on rain-fed lands.

In the Batken region, 7.3 thousand hectares have been sown, including 6.53 thousand hectares of winter wheat (4148 hectares on irrigated and 2385 hectares on rain-fed lands) and 793 hectares of winter barley (363 hectares on irrigated and 430 hectares on rain-fed).
The Jalal-Abad region has registered 16 thousand hectares of crops, of which 15.2 thousand hectares are winter wheat (6226 hectares on irrigated and 9011.7 hectares on rain-fed) and 931.5 hectares of winter barley (40.5 hectares on irrigated and 891 hectares on rain-fed).
In the Osh region, 17.1 thousand hectares have been sown, including 16.7 thousand hectares of winter wheat (7931 hectares on irrigated and 8749 hectares on rain-fed) and 434 hectares of winter barley (65 hectares on irrigated and 369 hectares on rain-fed).
The Talas region has completed the sowing of 5.3 thousand hectares of winter wheat, all of which is located on irrigated lands.
In the Chuy region, 100.2 thousand hectares have been sown, of which 94.5 thousand hectares are winter wheat (37.4 thousand hectares on irrigated and 57.1 thousand hectares on rain-fed) and 5879 hectares of winter barley (2599 hectares on irrigated and 3280 hectares on rain-fed).
The Issyk-Kul region reports the sowing of 9.2 thousand hectares, all of which is occupied by winter wheat (5582 hectares on irrigated and 3697 hectares on rain-fed).
