According to him, 15,000 seedlings have been planted in this area, including walnuts, apple trees, and apricots. All seedlings were purchased with funds from sponsors.
“A drip irrigation system has been installed for the new trees, the area is fenced off and protected. Each local resident will take care of the trees assigned to them for free, monitoring their growth. The area of 15 hectares is fully fenced with the support of NGOs. The remaining 10 hectares will be fenced in the spring, as it was impossible to do so earlier due to the fallen snow. This initiative is aimed at improving the ecology and greening the area,” noted S. Karaev.
