Initially, the project envisioned the construction of the racetrack on the territory of Voenno-Antonovka, where 200 hectares were allocated for this purpose. However, as the mayor noted, geological studies showed that the soil in this area is unsuitable for construction.
“Unfortunately, the results of the studies confirmed that it is impossible to build on this site, as the foundation cannot withstand such loads. Therefore, we are forced to change the location. This area is also included in the general plan, where the creation of an industrial park is envisaged,” Junushaliev added.
The mayor also mentioned the ongoing construction of a new Osh market, which will be located near the bus station, as well as the construction of a residential complex.
“In addition, another project is planned in the area of the Western bus station, covering an area of 234 hectares, where residential buildings, schools, kindergartens, clinics, and stadiums will be built,” Junushaliev reported.
The new Western bus station is located behind the village of Kozhomkul, at the intersection of Timur Frunze Street and the bypass highway.
