The work on laying the concrete pavement on the 'R-7' canal in the Alamedin district is ongoing. This canal, with a length of 4.16 kilometers, provides water to 3,212 hectares of irrigated land, according to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Installing the concrete surface on the canal will reduce water losses used for irrigation and improve access to water for farmers and local residents, creating conditions for increased crop yields.
The management of the Alamedin district water management authority plans to complete the laying of the concrete pavement on a section 1,100 meters long.
Currently, the installation of 200 meters of concrete pavement has been successfully completed.
