According to the information from the department, modern drip irrigation systems are being installed on 30 hectares of rain-fed land. Additionally, as part of the project, a daily regulation reservoir with a capacity of 15,000 cubic meters is being constructed.
The land plot is leased for a period of 5 years through the district agricultural development management, which creates favorable conditions for long-term planning and sustainable development of horticulture.
Starting from March of this year, the process of planting seedlings will begin in this area. The use of modern technologies and drip irrigation allows for significant savings in water resources, which is especially relevant in conditions of water scarcity, and eases the labor of farmers.
The technological innovations being introduced by the ministry are aimed at increasing yields, minimizing water losses, and ensuring the sustainability of agricultural production. The implementation of this project will have a significant impact on the development of horticulture in the Toktogul district and will enhance the financial capabilities of local residents.
