Within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), key areas for cooperative collaboration in the field of ferrous metallurgy have been identified, as reported by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).

The new recommendations adopted in this area aim to develop cooperation considering the existing integration opportunities.

It is also proposed to organize the exchange of experience in areas such as the technologies for mining and processing ferrous metal ores, as well as supporting low-emission transformation in ferrous metallurgy.

The Minister for Industry and Agrarian Policy of the EEC, Goar Barsegyan, noted: “The implementation of these recommendations will contribute to deepening cooperation in ferrous metallurgy, taking into account the current development priorities of this sector in EAEU countries.”
