Representatives from the relevant ministries and agencies of the member states of the union participated in the event.
One of the key topics of discussion was the application for the "Hot-Dip Galvanizing Line" project, which was submitted for participation in the financial support mechanism for joint cooperative projects in industrial sectors funded from the EAEU budget.
The committee approved a review of the state of agricultural machinery manufacturing in the EAEU countries, as well as a draft of recommendations based on this analysis, which will be presented to the Board of the EEC. In addition, committee members agreed on the need to develop recommendations for deepening cooperation among member states in the areas of hydrogen transport production, as well as nuclear and radiation technologies.
Goar Barsegyan noted: "Within the framework of the EAEU, there is significant potential for developing cooperation and implementing pilot projects related to hydrogen transport, considering the scientific and technological capabilities of each member state in the context of global climate change. The adoption of recommendations in the field of nuclear and radiation engineering will help strengthen sustainable cooperative ties between states and create conditions for the development of high technologies within the union."
Also at the meeting, new promising directions for cooperative collaboration in ferrous metallurgy within the EAEU were approved. Measures to stimulate demand for ferrous metals in various industries, opportunities for establishing cooperative supplies of innovative steels, and the development of engineering cooperation, including the exchange of experience and technologies, were discussed.
