The first project with a budget of 1.3 billion rubles is being implemented by the Murom Switch Factory and aims to produce switch products for high-speed and heavy-duty railway lines. The main partners of the borrower are a construction firm from Kazakhstan and a manufacturer of press equipment from Belarus.
As part of this project, thanks to union subsidies with a key rate of 21%, a preferential rate of 4.2% was achieved, which allowed for a reduction in costs to 155.4 million rubles. Otherwise, with a commercial rate of 25.2%, the credit costs would have amounted to about 932 million rubles.
The second project with a budget of 89 million rubles is being carried out in Kazakhstan by KazRosEngineering in collaboration with the Russian company Rostselmash. The supply of components for the assembly line is being carried out from Belarus.
Barsegyan emphasized that Rostselmash, thanks to this mechanism, increased its exports of products to Kazakhstan by 300 units.
Union subsidies with a key rate of 15% allowed the business to obtain a preferential rate of 3%, which reduced costs to 69 million rubles.
In addition, the minister reported that last week the EEC council approved the third project, which costs 900 million rubles. It is being implemented by the Kurgan Road Machinery Plant and focuses on the production of equipment for complex road machines and garbage trucks. The partners in this project are component suppliers from Belarus and Kazakhstan.

Barsegyan also added that two more projects are in the final stages and awaiting final approval. One of them involves companies from Russia, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan, while the second project, concerning railway engineering, involves enterprises from Russia, Belarus, and Armenia.
“Both projects are ready for launch, and we hope for their final approval by the end of the year,” noted the minister.
Preliminary estimates show that the implementation of all three approved projects will bring about 900 million rubles in tax revenues to the national budgets of the EAEU countries, as well as create approximately 300 new jobs.
