The Kurgan Road Machinery Plant will implement this project in collaboration with enterprises from Belarus and Kazakhstan, which will provide components for the final products.
The Minister of Industry and the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Eurasian Economic Commission, G. Barsegyan, noted that the project contributes to the formation of a value-added chain, the development of sustainable economic ties, and the creation of new jobs in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.
According to her, the implementation of this project will enable an increase in the production volumes of specialized road machinery (SRM) and garbage trucks at the new plant in Kurgan. It is planned to organize serial production of equipment for SRM with a projected volume of at least 530 units per year by 2029.
The financial support for producers from EAEU countries includes subsidizing interest rates on loans and borrowings provided by financial institutions for the implementation of joint projects from the EAEU budget. “Participation in this program will allow the enterprise to reduce the interest rate from 23% to 6.5%,” emphasized the EEC minister.
