According to Barsegyan, Kyrgyzstan demonstrates significant potential in the light industry sector. "I see enormous opportunities for the country in this area," she stated.
The minister also spoke about ongoing discussions regarding the project proposal for furniture production and initiatives in machine engineering. "We are currently working on projects in furniture manufacturing and machine engineering, actively engaging with other member states and involving enterprises from the Kyrgyz Republic," she clarified.
In addition, the minister noted that a project involving a Kyrgyz company in the field of microelectronics for personal computers is at a high stage of readiness. "Our first project with a Kyrgyz company in the field of microelectronics, which involves 'Kyrgyzelektronika', will soon be approved," Barsegyan added.
She also emphasized that work is ongoing in accordance with the instructions of the leadership of Kyrgyzstan to identify priorities for the country from the list of areas provided by the mechanism. "We aim to determine key areas for Kyrgyzstan so that we can develop them in detail in the coming years," the minister noted.
The EEC hopes that as a result of this activity, new projects will be implemented in the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
