At the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized that Mongolia is focused on active cooperation with other SCO countries in significant infrastructure, urban planning, and energy initiatives, as well as in the humanitarian sphere. The main goal is to create Transit Mongolia — an important hub for trade, tourism, transport, and logistics, connecting Asia and Europe.

Zandanshatar highlighted important national initiatives such as "Billions of Trees" and "Food Security and Safety," aimed at mitigating the effects of climate change, combating desertification, and developing water resources. He also noted that Mongolia is aiming to further deepen cooperation with SCO member states in these areas.

Additionally, the Prime Minister announced the holding of the 17th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification in Ulaanbaatar in 2026. He emphasized that this conference will discuss comprehensive measures for climate change adaptation, improving water resource management, and preventing land degradation. Zandanshatar invited SCO countries to actively participate in this important event with high-level delegations.

The meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the SCO includes the Prime Ministers and Foreign Ministers of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and India.
