The adopted resolution emphasizes the significance of the nomadic way of life in terms of its cultural, historical, and social contributions to global cultural diversity and sustainable development.

The Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mirbek Mambetaliev, presented this document at the meeting. He noted that recognition at the UNESCO level is a significant step towards popularizing nomadic heritage and supporting initiatives related to its study and transmission to future generations.

Experts also believe that the introduction of such a date will strengthen Kyrgyzstan's international status as a custodian of nomadic culture, create new opportunities for cultural diplomacy and ethnotourism, and draw attention to the need to preserve traditions, crafts, and intangible heritage, including the epic "Manas" and nomadic games.
