According to her, thanks to the commission's support, business costs have been reduced by approximately 5–6 times.
The subsidies provided by the union are in accordance with the key interest rate, allowing companies to obtain loans on favorable terms, where rates for ongoing projects range from 4.2% to 3%.
The minister also emphasized the importance of the initial projects as benchmarks for the market. "Having initial projects is extremely important for them to serve as examples for businesses," she stressed.
Barsegyan added that despite bureaucratic obstacles and the need for approvals from all member states of the union, the launch of the mechanism and the beginning of its implementation have become possible. "We have managed to launch this mechanism, but we are aware of the high expectations placed upon us," the minister noted, adding that the issue is under the attention of the heads of state and government of the EAEU countries.
