Starting from February 3, a reading relay has been launched in the administrative center of the Jumgal district of the Naryn region, in the village of Chayek, organized by the Central Library named after Sovetbek Baigaziev.

According to information provided by the district culture department, this time the librarians are not collecting books from local residents.

As part of the preparations for the 100th anniversary of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region in 2025, the library received 100 new titles of books, which were donated to the library's collection with the support of President Sadyr Japarov. These books will be distributed for temporary reading, for a period of 7–10 days, to employees of various institutions and traders in the markets, with a call for active reading.

The main goal of this event is to promote reading and attract new readers to the library.
