According to Turmush, the decree on the appointment was signed by President Sadyr Japarov.
The ceremony to introduce the new mayor will take place on February 5 at the Kara-Balta city hall.
Isakov previously held the position of head of the traffic safety department of the Talas region's Internal Affairs Directorate and holds the rank of lieutenant colonel of police.
Later, the presidential representative in the Chui region, Azamat Osmonov, introduced Almaz Isakov to the city hall staff.
The new mayor and his team will focus on the sustainable development of the city, addressing the pressing issues of local residents, as well as the need for effective work by the city hall staff and the fulfillment of tasks set by the country's leadership.
