In the Issyk-Kul Region, yurts and trade pavilions burned down in a fire

A fire occurred in the Issyk-Kul region, covering approximately 2 hectares. As a result of the blaze, preliminary reports indicate that 4 yurts and 2 trade pavilions were burned down.

The fire started in the village of Kök-Moynok-2 due to dry grass igniting on the roadside.

According to information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic for the Issyk-Kul region, the first firefighting team from unit No. 19 in the city of Balykchy arrived at the scene at 22:36, and a second team was dispatched half an hour later. The fire quickly spread to the yurts located along the road due to strong winds. The fire was extinguished only at 01:05.

As a result of this incident, about 2 hectares of land were burned, as well as 4 yurts and 2 pavilions made of metal profiled sheets.

Fortunately, there were no casualties as a result of the fire.
