At the meeting of the Board of the State Tax Service, dedicated to the results of the agency's work for 2025, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, was present.

Kasymaliev reported that in 2025, the State Tax Service collected 391.8 billion soms, which exceeds the planned figures by 8.2 billion soms. He noted that in recent years, successful measures in the field of digitalization and simplification of tax administration have been implemented, positively affecting the quality of services provided.

The head of the government highlighted several reasons that contributed to the increase in budget revenues: economic growth — the country's gross domestic product (GDP) rose from 8.3 billion USD in 2020 to more than 22.6 billion USD in 2025; improvement in tax administration — tax revenues increased approximately fourfold, customs revenues sixfold, and non-tax revenues eight to nine times; growth in activity in construction, trade, services, and agriculture; and finally, due to the rise in global gold prices, revenues from the operation of "Kumtor" exceeded five billion USD.

Kasymaliev emphasized the importance of raising salaries for social sector workers, which has become one of the key tasks set by the president for the current year.

"The tax service plays a central role in fulfilling this task and in ensuring funding for major infrastructure projects and significant state events," he added.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers also discussed issues related to increasing tax arrears and the growing amounts of overpayment on value-added tax, calling for immediate solutions to these problems.

In addition, he familiarized himself with the information system "Salyk küzöt," instructing its refinement and launch as soon as possible.

Concluding his speech, Kasymaliev stressed the need to enhance professionalism and dedication in work to achieve the set goals.

"Recently, at the World Government Summit in the United Arab Emirates, we held a side event where we shared the positive experience of our country and the unique model of economic growth called 'Snow Leopard.' Moving in the same direction, we must continue to work hard to achieve new successes," he concluded. During the meeting, several employees of the State Tax Service were awarded.
