In Balakchy, a suspect in cattle theft has been detained

In Balykchy, a man suspected of cattle theft was detained, according to the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region.

According to the information received, on February 1, a local resident named J.D., born in 1999, approached the police station in the city of Balykchy. In his statement, he reported that on January 31, unknown individuals stole one sheep from his barn in the territory of Orto-Böyrok in the village of Ak-Ölön, which is part of Balykchy. The damage from the theft amounted to 20,000 soms.

The incident was recorded in the Unified Register of Crimes of the Balykchy Internal Affairs Department, and a criminal case was initiated under Article 205¹, concerning "Cattle Theft" according to the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

As a result of a raid conducted under the name "Arsenal" by the employees of the City Internal Affairs Department, the suspect — R.N., born in 1992, a resident of the village of Ak-Ölön — was detained.

During the interrogation, the suspect confessed to his guilt. The Balykchy City Court decided to impose a preventive measure in the form of arrest of the suspect until the investigative activities are completed.

The investigation is ongoing.
