Singer and composer Nur Cholpon successfully represented Kyrgyzstan as part of the international music project Voice Beyond Horizon, which aired on February 5, 2026, on Hunan Satellite TV and Mango TV. This was reported by the Ministry of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In her performance, Nur Cholpon sang the ancient folk song "Besh Yrgai," offering the audience her modern interpretation, which highlights the richness of Kyrgyz musical heritage.
She is the first female composer in the opera genre in Kyrgyzstan and successfully combines the traditional sound of the komuz with contemporary musical elements.

The project brings together performers from different corners of the world and promotes cultural exchange and the strengthening of humanitarian ties along the Great Silk Road.
The Ministry of Culture emphasizes the importance of the participation of domestic artists who represent the country on the international stage and contribute to the popularization of Kyrgyz culture beyond its borders.

The ministry noted: "Nur Cholpon's participation in this project is an important step towards enhancing the cultural prestige of Kyrgyzstan and deepening international cultural cooperation."
