The Chairman of the State Guard, Syrgak Berdikozhoev, emphasized that:
Tashiev, who was previously under protection, will continue to receive security in accordance with established rules.
On February 10, Tashiev was relieved of his duties in the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
Immediately after his dismissal, an acting head of the GKNB was appointed, and three of his deputies also left their positions. The Border Service was separated into an independent agency, no longer under the GKNB's jurisdiction. Additionally, the Secretary of the Security Council was replaced and returned to his previous position as the First Deputy Chairman of the GKNB.
A decision was made for nine state security services to report directly to the president.
