Syrgak Kadyrovich Berdikozhoev now holds the position of head of the State Guard Service under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, as confirmed by the decree of President Sadyr Japarov.
The State Guard Service was established on the basis of the 9th service of the State Committee for National Security, as the president indicated in his decree.
This authority is directly subordinate to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and is responsible for ensuring the national security of the country. Its duties include conducting activities to protect individuals and facilities within the powers established by the legislation of Kyrgyzstan.
3. It is established that:
– the appointment and dismissal of the head of the State Guard Service is carried out by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic;
– the deputies of the head of the State Guard Service are appointed and dismissed upon the recommendation of the head of this service also by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
