According to information provided by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Osh region, during operational activities conducted by the service for combating extremism and illegal migration, citizens were detained for distributing materials recognized as extremist and banned in the country through social networks.
Expert analysis confirmed that the detainees posted and shared materials related to extremist and terrorist organizations on social media.
Based on the collected data and the expert analysis, a criminal case was initiated under Article 332 of the Criminal Code ("Production and distribution of extremist materials"), and relevant investigative actions have begun.
During the operation, two suspects were detained: D.G., born in 1994, and Y.B., born in 1999. They have been placed in custody by the court.
Currently, efforts are ongoing to identify other individuals who may be involved in this crime.
