
The Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, announced his decision to leave the position voluntarily.
He noted that during his official visit to Turkey, important events occurred within the country, which led to numerous rumors and speculations about his personality.
“I work not for individual people, but for the state and the people. I should not be associated with specific individuals,” he emphasized.
The Speaker added that after his re-election, he made a significant contribution to the adoption of key state decisions and also noted that the parliament played a crucial role in maintaining political stability and the development of the country.
“All necessary and important laws have been adopted. We need a political culture,” he said.
In addition, he assured that the decision to resign was made by him independently, without any pressure.
