The deputy emphasized the significance of the former speaker's work for the Kyrgyz language and the adoption of key laws.

After Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu left the position of chairman of the parliament, several deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh expressed their opinions.

Janar Akayev noted that the former speaker performed his duties with dignity and did not involve the Jogorku Kenesh in political conflicts.

“You worked honestly. I especially want to highlight your initiative to transition the documentation to the Kyrgyz language and the adoption of the constitutional law on the state language. Your contribution to the development of the Kyrgyz language is significant,” Akayev noted.

He also pointed out important systemic laws adopted during Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu's tenure, such as the law on the rehabilitation of repressed ancestors and the law on education.

“Your contribution to this work as a speaker cannot be overstated, and we are proud to have worked with you. We highly value your activities. Holding a position is not easy, and not everyone manages to leave office with their head held high,” the deputy added.
