According to information from the Traffic Safety Department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui Region, on February 12, 2026, at the 127th kilometer of the Bishkek-Osh road, in the area of the Töö-Ashuu pass, a snow avalanche descended. This event forced the introduction of temporary restrictions for all vehicles.
Currently, road services are working to clear the road in order to restore traffic as quickly as possible.
Employees of the Traffic Safety Department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui Region are on-site, ensuring safety on the road and controlling the flow of vehicles.
