The President commented on the Speaker of the Parliament's decision to resign.

President Sadyr Japarov commented to the publication "Kabar" regarding the decision of the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu to resign.

According to him, he cannot confidently assert that the current events in the country or the appeals from a group of 75 people were the reasons for this, nor that the speaker was directly involved in this decision.

The head of state noted: "Perhaps they or those who organized them were behind him. There is also a possibility that he felt guilty for contributing to the division among the deputies and came to such a conclusion."
