In an interview with the Kabar agency, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, commented on the accusations circulating on social media regarding possible violations by some representatives of the special services in the context of the fight against corruption and organized crime. According to him, there are claims that employees, guided by personal interests, allegedly used the name of Kamchybek Tashiev to cover up their illegal actions.
Sadyr Japarov noted that there is no practice in the country of 'covering' individuals who violate the law, regardless of their status or position.
“The state places the law above all when it comes to serving the people. This principle has been in effect and continues to be in effect even concerning our close ones. You yourself could have seen such examples,” the president emphasized.He also added that the law has always been and will be observed, and no public servant has the right to violate it for personal gain.
“If facts are discovered that representatives of the special services or other state bodies have exceeded their authority, they will definitely be investigated, and those responsible will be held accountable. Before the law, we are all equal,” he stated.
