In the village of Kara-Burgon, which is part of the eponymous rural district of the Ak-Tala region in the Naryn province, the renovation of the Mukash Bazarkulov Secondary School has been completed.

The school's director, Gulкайыр Майрыкеева, reported that the basement had not been used for a long time and was in a neglected state. However, the situation changed thanks to volunteer Alex Lowe, who arrived in 2023 to teach English.

Thanks to Alex Lowe's initiative, a major renovation of the abandoned basement was carried out, costing 1 million 600 thousand soms. As a result, a new assembly hall and rooms for extracurricular activities were created.

Additionally, with the help of a development fund, a complete reconstruction of the engineering systems in the basement was carried out.

As part of the infrastructure upgrade, a modern boiler room was also installed, which will ensure a comfortable temperature in the school building.
