Dana White, the executive director of UFC, announced an upcoming meeting with Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, in the coming days. The purpose of this meeting will be to present him with the card for the tournament scheduled for June 14 at the White House.
At the press conference, White noted: “This week, Craig Borsari and I are heading to Washington to discuss the organization of the tournament and the details of the card with the president's team. We have prepared three different options to present to Trump and understand what he will like. I can say that this event will be exceptional, unique, and very large-scale.”
According to White, the discussion will cover all important aspects of the tournament, including the fight lineup, logistics, and organizational details. Several teams are involved in preparing this event, each offering their ideas on the format and composition of the fights.
Recall that on February 22 in Houston (USA), UFC Fight Night 267 will take place, featuring former middleweight champion Sean Strickland and Anthony Hernandez in the main fights.
Strickland last fought in the octagon in February 2025 at UFC 312, where he lost to Dricus Du Plessis by unanimous decision. His record stands at 29 wins and 7 losses, confirming his experience in the upcoming bouts.
Hernandez fought his last match in August 2025 at UFC on ESPN 72, where he won against Roman Dolidze by submission in the fourth round. He has 15 wins, 2 losses, and one no contest to his name.
White's meeting with Trump will be an important step in preparing for the UFC tournament at the White House, as it will allow for the finalization of the card, work out organizational details, and create a unique show for the audience.
