Urmатбек Muslinovich Shamyрkanov has been appointed as the Minister of Emergency Situations, according to information from the president's press service.

The decree on his appointment was signed by President Sadyr Japarov.

Previously, Shamyрkanov held the position of Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The former head of the department was Boobek Ajikeev.
