At 3:00 PM on February 26, an exhibition titled "Roerich: Herald of Beauty. The Master, Son of the Master" will open at the Gapar Aitiev Museum of Fine Arts, organized by the N.K. Roerich Museum Center.

According to reports, this event is dedicated to two significant anniversaries: the 100th anniversary of Nikolai Roerich's Central Asian Expedition and the centenary of Lyudmila Shaposhnikova, the founder of the International Roerich Center located in Moscow.

Svyatoslav Nikolayevich Roerich, a renowned artist, scientist, and public figure, returned his parents' invaluable heritage from India to their homeland in 1989 and founded the N.K. Roerich Museum Center in Moscow. Lyudmila Shaposhnikova was appointed the director of this museum and held this position for many years.

Lyudmila Vasilievna Shaposhnikova is a well-known orientalist, writer, and philosopher, as well as a distinguished figure in the arts of Russia. She is a laureate of the International Jawaharlal Nehru Award, an academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and the Russian Academy of Cosmonautics named after K.E. Tsiolkovsky, and an honorary doctor of several universities, including St. Clement of Ohrid University, the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. From 1990 to 2015, she served as the general director of the N.K. Roerich Public Museum.
