During the inspection, the commission began with an examination of the Southwest cemetery, which has been closed for burials since January 1, 2021, by decision of the State Inspectorate for Environmental and Technical Safety, the Central State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service, and the Municipal Enterprise "Bishkekglavarchitectura".
During the inspection, significant shortcomings were identified in the maintenance of the territory, accounting for burials, and organization of work. The municipal enterprise has been tasked with conducting a complete inventory of burials and submitting proposals for improving the condition of the territory in accordance with established standards.
The commission also visited the cemetery near the village of Orto-Sai, which was transferred to the city as part of the ADB, as well as the Muslim cemetery in the Kok-Zhar area. The municipal enterprise "BARU" was instructed to ensure control over the use of land plots, improve infrastructure, accessibility, and compliance with maintenance regulations.
The aim of the inspection activities is to ensure an objective analysis of the municipal enterprise's work, monitor compliance with legislation, as well as improve the quality of services provided and assess the effectiveness of resource use and municipal property, according to information from the Bishkek city hall.
It should be noted that the work of the commission and inspections of cemeteries in the city will continue.
