In the Sokuluk district, a citizen of another country was detained while driving a car with illegally tinted windows and without the necessary documents. This was reported by the press service of the Traffic Safety Department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region.

The incident occurred on February 25, 2026, when officers from the Traffic Safety Department of the Sokuluk District Internal Affairs Directorate were carrying out their duties on the Bishkek—Osh highway. At around 08:30, a "Hyundai Sonata" traveling east with tinted front side windows was stopped at the intersection of Frunze and Lenin streets in the village of Sokuluk.

During the check, it was revealed that the driver, a foreign citizen born in 1988 named E.R., did not have a driver's license and was unable to provide documents confirming the legality of the tinting on his car's windows.

Based on the above, administrative protocols were drawn up in accordance with the Code of Offenses:

Article 184 (Driving a vehicle without a driver's license);

Article 194, part 3 (Illegal operation of a vehicle with tinted windows).

The car was placed in a specialized impound lot.
