President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov announced that over the past five years, the volume of agricultural production has reached a record level of 2 trillion soms. This statement was made at a republican meeting held at "Yntymak Ordo".
“The rural population makes up 60% of the total number of residents in the country. Therefore, the development of the agricultural sector is our main concern,” Japarov noted.
He also added that supporting rural residents has remained a priority task, as the development of rural areas affects the well-being of families, regions, and the country as a whole.
According to the president, the results of work in the agricultural sector are evident: the volume of agricultural production over 5 years approached 2 trillion soms. “This has led to the creation of new jobs and an increase in the incomes of families in rural areas, which, in turn, has strengthened the economic independence of both the regions and the entire republic,” he emphasized.
It should be noted that the meeting at "Yntymak Ordo" was dedicated to summarizing the results of work for 2025 and brought together President Sadyr Japarov and his team under one roof.
The event also included members of the government, heads of state institutions, authorized representatives of the president in the regions, mayors of Bishkek and Osh, as well as district akims.
