At the republican meeting held at "Yntymak Ordo" under the leadership of Edil Baisalov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, the results of 2025 in the fields of culture, sports, tourism, and youth policy were summarized.
Edil Baisalov noted that in the past year, 851 million soms were allocated for the improvement of the material and technical base of cultural institutions. In addition, revenues from paid services of theaters and entertainment institutions reached a record 155 million soms.
In the area of youth policy, funding increased from 4 million soms in 2021 to 50 million soms by 2025. The budget for the sports sector also significantly increased, from 953 million soms in 2021 to 2.6 billion soms in 2025, which represents more than a 2.6-fold growth.
Regarding tourism, the gross added value in this sector amounted to 74.4 billion soms, which is 29% more compared to 2024.
In addition to Baisalov, the meeting was attended by President Sadyr Japarov, representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of state agencies, authorized representatives of the president in the regions, mayors of Bishkek and Osh, as well as district akims.
