According to the agency, on February 22, as part of operational activities aimed at combating crime in the area, with the code names "Bandit," "Theft," and "Teenager-Night," officers of the Aksy District Internal Affairs Department stopped an Audi 100 vehicle on one of the highways.
During the inspection of the vehicle, three firearms, ammunition, and meat from a wild animal packed in a bag were found in the cabin. A forensic ballistic examination has been appointed for the seized weapons.
These actions have been registered in the unified crime register by the investigative service of the Aksy District Internal Affairs Department, and a criminal case has been initiated under Article 267 ("Illegal trafficking in weapons and ammunition") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As part of the investigative actions, the suspects were detained: M.B. (born in 1958), B.Zh. (born in 1972), and R.S. (born in 1971).
The investigation is ongoing.
