






On March 1, a meeting took place in Jinan, attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov and Lin Wu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Communist Party of China in Shandong Province.
During the negotiations, the parties confirmed the high level of strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and China, discussing issues related to the development of interregional cooperation. The importance of strengthening ties between the regions of Kyrgyzstan and Shandong was noted as a key aspect.
In addition, Edil Baisalov raised topics regarding the activation of practical cooperation, which includes the establishment of new production capacities in Kyrgyzstan to support the small and medium-sized business sector.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized: “Over the past five years, under the leadership of President Sadyr Japarov, Kyrgyzstan has demonstrated significant rates of socio-economic growth, opening a new stage in its development. Currently, the country's leadership faces the task of implementing modern production technologies, creating export-oriented industrial enterprises, and new jobs for the youth. The government is developing a number of new state programs in this direction, actively relying on the experience and cooperation with China.”
Lin Wu, the Secretary of the Party Committee, confirmed the readiness of Shandong Province to support the expansion of comprehensive cooperation, the development of investment ties, launching new initiatives in industrial supply, and activating humanitarian exchanges.
As a result of the meeting, the parties outlined a plan for further strengthening interaction between the regions and agreed to continue joint work on the implementation of the reached agreements. The Kyrgyz delegation also familiarized itself with the operations of leading machine engineering enterprises in the province during its visit.
