Zhoomart Akmatov has been appointed head of the education department of the Uzgen district and the city of Uzgen. This was reported by the deputy akim of the Uzgen district, Maksat Ibraimov.

Zhoomart Akmatov was born on August 7, 1985, in the village of Buiqa, Kara-Kuldzhinsky district, Osh region.

He began his career in the field of education in 2006, working as a geography teacher at School-Gymnasium No. 18 named after A. Navoi in the city of Osh.

Zhoomart Akmatov has held positions as head of the geography department at the Osh Institute of Education and also directed an educational institution as the school principal.
