The suspect had connections with other "Hizb ut-Tahrir" leaders in the country, as well as with a representative of the group operating outside Kyrgyzstan.
As specified by the GKNB, for several years he had been spreading extremist ideas among the local population, recruiting new followers, and collecting funds from ordinary members to support extremist activities.
At present, the detainee has been placed in the GKNB investigative isolation facility, and an investigation is ongoing against him.
