On the territory of the Batken region, employees of the State National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic detained members of the REO "Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami." Some of the detainees had previously encountered legal issues due to extremist activities.
According to the state committee, among the detainees are residents of the village of Uch-Korgon, located in the Kadamjai district, as well as urban residents of Kyzyl-Kiya. These individuals studied prohibited materials and were active participants in closed Telegram channels of the REO "Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami," where they discussed ideas about creating a caliphate on the territory of Kyrgyzstan and continued to promote the ideology of this organization.
During searches conducted at the residences of the detainees, prohibited books, literature, and electronic devices, including laptops, flash drives, mobile phones, and hard drives, were discovered. ```
