In Bishkek, another raid aimed at combating unauthorized trade took place at the Osh market. Employees of the municipal inspection of the mayor's office demanded the clearance of areas and passages prohibited for trade, as stated in an official announcement from the mayor's office.

According to the information, many sellers continued to occupy illegal spots despite previously issued warnings about the ban.

During the raid, tensions escalated: traders cried, claiming that this was their only source of income and that they had no other options for earning money. Some of them tried to hold onto their goods and spots, which led to verbal altercations and pushing.

As a result, inspectors drew up protocols in accordance with the KR Code on Offenses. In the case of repeated violations, goods may be confiscated.

The mayor's office emphasizes that spontaneous trade hinders pedestrian passage and vehicle movement, creates unsanitary conditions, and violates market operation rules. Local residents and sellers have repeatedly raised the issue of a lack of accessible trading spaces.

Market control will be conducted daily.
